Schools in Manatee and Sarasota County reopen Monday

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Schools in both Manatee and Sarasota Counties plan to be open on Monday.
Here is what both posted on social media over the weekend:
Manatee County: SCHOOL RESUMES MONDAY
All Manatee District Schools will return to teaching and learning tomorrow, Monday, September 30, 2024, at regularly scheduled times. We look forward to welcoming your students back to our schools.
Sarasota County: ALL SCHOOLS OPEN MONDAY, SEPT. 30: All traditional public schools & district offices will reopen as scheduled on Monday, September 30. Our teams are conducting inspections and working hard to clean up and make repairs over the weekend.
Please note that school facilities remain closed today & through the weekend, with access limited to designated staff. As we start the week, please expect transportation delays.
