‘He’s not coming back’: Father grieves son who died after crash near Rod Run car festival in Pigeon Forge

But it’s certainly fair to say when the Green Bay Packers face Tennessee in Nashville Sunday, confidence won’t be an issue for Jeffery Simmons or Josh Jacobs.

Simmons, the Titans’ right defensive end, declared earlier this week: “no one runs the ball on the Tennessee Titans.

After hearing that comment, Jacobs — the Packers’ standout running back who’s third in the NFL in rushing yards — said “running the ball or offensively, I feel like can’t no defense stop us. So I would say the same thing.”

Through two weeks, Green Bay’s ground game has been terrific, while Tennessee has excelled at stopping the run.

It’s easy to see why both teams are confident in their respective units. So whichever side wins that matchup could very well win the game.

“The better you do in a certain area like running the ball, the more your opponents are going to focus on that,” Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. “So we’ve just got to make sure we keep going, we don’t get stale, we keep working, we dig at those details that we’ve got to improve.”
