Will Smith looks in good spirits as he joins tennis star Rafael Nadal for boat trip at the E1 Lake Como in Italy

Will Smith was in good spirits as he joined the E1 Lake Como in Italy on Friday.

The Oscar-winning Hollywood star, 55, joined Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal, 38, aboard the high-octane luxury liner in the European city.

Will opted for an all-red ensemble for the summery outing, choosing a red polo and matching red and white trousers.

He completed the look with a pair of black trousers that featured a red toe as he cosied up with a host of others in the good weather.

The King Richard actor laughed and joked with his peers as one took a selfie with the serene water of the upscale resort flowing behind them.

Rafael has had a career on the tennis court for years but recently announced he will not compete at this year’s US Open.

At one point, Will was seen having a conversation with a young woman who seemed pleased to be meeting the film star.

Although Will is separated from wife Jada Pinkett-Smith,  he recently listed her among the people in his life that he considers a ‘ride-or-die.’

When asked to identity the people in his life that he considers ‘ride-or-die’ by Entertainment Tonight, the father-of-three gave Pinkett Smith, who is the mother of his two youngest kids Jaden Smith, 25, and Willow Smith, 23, a sweet shoutout.

‘It’s funny, I was just talking about this, I have always been blessed that there has never been a time in my life when I didn’t look to the side and have a ride-or-die right there,’ Will said at a screening of his new film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die. ‘Jada is one of the most gangsta ride-or-dies I’ve ever had.’

A ride or die is an affectionate term for someone that is there for you through the highs and the lows of life.
