Dzanan Musa reveals contract extension talks with Real Madrid

A long-term contract extension between Real Madrid and Dzanan Musa is a possibility, barring the 25-year-old guard returning to the NBA

with a limited role in a 2020-21 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague championship run. Moving to Rio Breogan for the 2021-22 season, he was named Liga Endesa MVP. From there to the capital of Spain, he went on to become a two-time EuroLeague champion in 2023.

In 2023-24, he averaged 13.5 points per EuroLeague contest. At the domestic level, he contributed to the team coached by Chus Mateo winning the ACB championship and the Copa del Rey. Capturing more titles is the goal for the next season.

Dzanan Musa opened up about his future, including considering a second spell in the NBA.

Musa, 25, also discussed his contract with Real Marid revealing ongoing negotiations, a few months after Los Blancos used an optiom for the 2024-25 season.
