AFC Wimbledon boss Johnnie Jackson says there will be no overreaction after suffering a 2-0 defeat at South London rivals Bromley on Saturday afternoon.
The Dons went behind in the 34th minute when Michael Cheek was allowed time on the edge of the box on the counter-attack to slot an effort – his second of the season – past Owen Goodman.
Corey Whitely doubled Bromley’s lead and wrapped up the game in the 59th minute after he collected Danny Imray’s run and pass to slot beyond Palace loanee Goodman.
It was the first defeat the Dons had suffered in League Two this season, winning the opening day outing at home to Colchester.
“We were good in patches and poor in some areas,” said Jackson.

“We were the dominant team with the ball. We had more possession and more shots, but we didn’t have enough to show for that.
“We got done in transition in two moments for their goals – it’s disappointing.
We knew we would probably see a lot of the ball and we know how good they are in those moments. We’re frustrated with the goals.
“If you see the subs that we’re making, we’re bringing good players on – we have to be on it all the time if you’re going to play.
“There has been a bit of a drop-off today, but not a huge drop-off – we can’t overreact.
“It’s easily a game on another day that we get something from. I don’t think we have come here and been played off the park or been dominated.
“But they have had the better moments.”
