Bréàking news:-Current World Champion Teofimo Lopez,Reveals ‘I Would Really Like to Face Terence Crawford……………..

At the BMO stadium on August 3/4, we saw Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) further enhance his legacy, defeating Israil Madrimov (10-1-1, 7 KOs). The bout resembled a chess match, but “Bud” did just enough in the early part of the fight and worked smartly in the championship rounds, which were enough for the Omaha native to win the fight by unanimous decision, with the scorecards reading 115 – 113 x2 and 116 – 112. The victory for “Bud” saw him win the WBA super welterweight belt, with attention quickly turning to what could come next for Crawford with the newly crowned WBA king appearing on Shawn Porter’s “The PorterWay Podcast” to reveal who he wants to face next at 154 pounds – but a world champion has now said he wants to face the Omaha native next.

Following Crawford’s successful quest to become a four-weight world champion, it remains to be seen what comes next for “Bud.” The most recent fighter to reveal he wants to face Crawford is the current WBO super lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez, who is seemingly prepared to climb two-weight classes to challenge the Omaha native.

Lopez was last seen in June when he comfortably beat Steve Claggett to retain his WBO strap. The judge’s scorecards reflected the dominance 120-108 x2 and 119-109. When speaking to Charlie Parsons at The Stomping Ground, “The Takeover” was asked what Crawford should do next, and he didn’t hesitate in his response: “It’s up to him, whatever the case, I would really like to face Terence Crawford next.”

Beating Crawford

Lopez then described how he would beat the four-division world champion: “My way, like Frank Sinatra, I did it my way.” The Brooklyn native continued: “Going up two weight classes will make it much more sweeter, it’s like putting the cherry on top of the cake with the icing.”
