USA gymnast, Simone Biles’ dig towards former USA president Donald Trump gets NBA star LeBron James’ nod on social media
One of the best gymnasts in the world, Simone Biles has been making the headlines recently after her recent social media activity involving former USA President, Donald Trump. Notably, during the presidential debate on June 27, Trump made statements that said immigrants were “taking Black jobs now.” This did not go down well with Biles and also with basketball star LeBron James.
The nine-time Olympic medallist is aware of the events taking place in her country. She so used the occasion to cleverly poke fun at Donald Trump for his latest remarks. Following her second gold medal victory, she tweeted the following:

Interestingly, James also chimed in on Biles’ post on X. LeBron James replied to Simone Biles’ post on X and wrote, “Black (goat emoji) (black heart emoji)” It’s important to note that, on Thursday, August 1, Biles won Gold in the gymnastics all-around final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Her dig towards Trump gathered a lot of attention from the sporting industry, with James visibly coming out to support her statement.
On July 31, 2024, at his appearance at the National Association of Black Journalists convention in Chicago, Trump was questioned regarding the remark as reported by the People. When asked to characterize a “Black job,” the former President stated, “A Black job is anybody that has a job, that’s what it is. Anybody that has a job.” It remains to be seen how this story unfolds in the coming days/months.
Kevin Durant gives Simone Biles a new ‘nickname”
Since winning her second gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Simone Biles has stolen all the headlines. But what grabbed people’s attention was an interesting comment made by NBA player and Team USA member Kevin Durant about Biles on the social media site X following her gold medal victory for her country.
Durant gave Biles a new nickname on X which was accepted by the sporting industry. Kevin Durant wrote on X, “Goat Biles” with the term “Goat” referring to “Greatest Of All Time.” Biles well and truly is the “Goat” when it comes to artistic gymnastics, as she is one of the best gymnasts of this generation and arguably the best in the world.
In addition, Durant of Team USA had the honor of witnessing his national teammate and top gymnast Simone Biles win the historic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics live. On the other hand, Durant also has a chance at creating history if he and his teammates win a historic 5th Gold medal.
