Five La Liga teams interested in signing Juanmi Latasa — report
Sevilla, Real Betis, Real Valladolid, Rayo Vallecano and Espanyol all have expressed interest in signing Juanmi Latasa this summer, according to a report from AS.
Four of those teams — all except Rayo Vallecano — have shown concrete interest over the last few weeks, with Rayo currently thinking about signing him as well.
Real Madrid want to sell him but keep 50% of his rights, as they have done for a number of players in the past.
According to the report, Valladolid are in the best position to sign Latasa at the moment because they have been close to accepting most of Real Madrid’s demands, and are offering the most money. There is still no agreement, of course, but they are reportedly leading the race.
Latasa — who is currently with his Real Madrid teammates in the USA — enjoyed a season on loan at Getafe, where he started most games alongside former Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral, scoring five goals in all competitions. He is a La Liga-level striker who will surely improve with time, so it is good that a number of clubs have reportedly shown interest in him.
