The FedEx truck was traveling north in the express lane, according to the police report, when the driver and passenger noticed the right sliding door was opening.

Reports say the passenger, 20-year-old Noah Fletcher, went to close the door when he fell out of the truck and onto the road around mile marker 31.8.Witnesses told police they were driving directly behind the FedEx truck when they saw the door on the right side of the truck open and moments later Fletcher fell out.
