The new Championship season is edging closer, with pre-season training ramping up and with teams now jetting off on summer trips. We have already seen deals aplenty in the second tier, and both Millwall and QPR have contributed their fair share.

QPR have snapped up as many as eight incomings, while Millwall have added some good quality through the likes of Japhet Tanganga and MacaulayLangstaff. Here we round up all the latest transfer news surrounding the Championship.

Leeds United have been dealt a boost with Aston Villa reportedly no longer interested in a deal to sign Willy Gnonto. Reports have claimed that Everton have been in touch with Leeds over a possible deal for the winger, but talks have not yet advanced.

Villa agreed to sell Moussa Diaby to Saudi Arabia, while they have brought in Jaden Phologene from Hull City having held an £18million buy-back clause in his deal. That transfer will see Villa duck out of the race for Gnonto.

Dozzell spent time on loan with Birmingham City last season, but he is going to prefer a move to the Championship rather than League One. Confirming Dozzell’s departure in May, QPR CEO Christian Nourry said: “Andre played an important role for the football club in the first half of the season and we will be forever grateful for the contributions he made.
