Sad MCs, Serrian, and ESPIA, together with Acid Mama

Come experience an incredible evening of bass-heavy beats as Acid Mama makes her return to  Brooklyn, delivering a series of B2B sets guaranteed to have you moving. From the 305, sad MCs are arriving with the Magic City’s distinctive low-end sound. Joining them are our resident DJs Dio Garcia and Marsweather, as well as icons of the Brooklyn underground scene, Serrian and ESPIA.

Powerhouse concerts at III Points, The Ass Party, Factory Town, and some of Miami’s top rave venues have made Alexx in Chainss & Sel.6 no strangers to the city; they have built their own path to the center of the burgeoning Miami underground scene. Each contributing their distinct sound aesthetic to the mix, they lead the audience through a range of musical styles, from acid house and bass to techno’s harsh 4/4 rhythm. They have a science experiment on the dance floor with chemistry as intense as any chemical substance.

Serrian acts as both founder and resident of the roving party known as “Jamais Vu”. Serrian can be heard playing classic house, acid house, techno, electro, new wave and cosmic/nu disco. Her variety of styles can be attributed to her booking background as she has operated as a promoter for over a decade: supporting labels, parties, and collectives that mold and innovate the fabric of NYC nightlife. Her style is eclectic, emotive, and upbeat – she crafts a story, bringing nuance and surprises to every set. Playing with her is Miami born and Brooklyn based ESPIA who has been a member of NY’s dance scene for over a decade. Having performed at spaces such as h0l0 and Sugar Hill, his sets combine older grooves with more modern styles to keep dancefloors moving.
