Paige Bueckers is likely going to be the frst overall pick in next year’s WNBA Draft after a standout career at UConn. However, she might want to consider a career as a quarterback.

The 22-year-old has an arm that rivals Kelsey Plum!

Plum, the No. 1 pick in 2017, won back-to-back championships with the Las Vegas Aces. The Aces used to be the San Antonio Stars, so the Spurs invited her to a playoff game shortly after she was drafted.

Little did Plum know, that brief appearance would stick with her forever. The 5-foot-8 point guard famously launched multiple t-shirts into the crowd. They were deep into the lower bowl. She even tossed one up into the upper deck.

Plum’s cannon arm immediately went viral and continues to pop up on social media seven years later. It gets discussed more often than you’d think!

For some reason, Bueckers’ t-shirt toss is not getting as much love as Plum’s viral toss even though it was just as impressive. We need to get the two point guards together on the gridiron and put their arms to the test. I think Kelsey Plum has Paige Bueckers beat in a long toss competition, but it would be close. They both have rocket launchers attached to their shoulders and can really let it rip.

Bueckers will play out her final year of collegiate eligibility next season before turning pro. Plum is trying to lead Las Vegas to a three-peat. Should either hooper get tired of what they are doing, there are plenty of NFL teams in search of a signal-caller!
