DONE DEAL: Wrexham confirms capturing the defender from Aston Villa

Sebastian Revan, formerly on loan at Rotherham United, has joined Wrexham from Aston Villa.

For an undisclosed fee, the aspirational League One team secured the 21-year-old’s talents on a permanent basis. Revan, a left-back by trade, was on loan at Rotherham United for the previous campaign. Revan was one of the Millers’ best players during a miserable season in which they were demoted from the Championship. He’ll travel to the USA and Canada with Wrexham as part of their pre-season tour.

“I’m delighted to get the deal done,” Revan stated at the Racecourse Ground after signing the paperwork. I’m eager to get going and prove my abilities to everyone.

“Visiting the USA and Canada is going to be fantastic. Hopefully, I’ll get a few minutes, a chance to make an impression, and the start of my season. I aim to improve both my game and the team’s by scoring goals and providing assists as we work to move the club up the standings.

“Seb is a player who really stood out for us from his performances in the Championship and he will only get better with us,” the speaker stated. Playing both left and right, he gives us a great deal of versatility. We are excited to have him on board because he is a talented young athlete.
