Emerson Royal has revealed he does not want to be on the bench next season amid rumours linking him with a move away from Tottenham.
Sky Sports News reported this week that AC Milan are keen on the Brazilian full-back, but there is no official bid for the defender.
“I’ve always made it clear. I’m very competitive and it bothers me a lot to be left on the bench. I was upset and I told the coach about it.
“I’ve always been very professional, put the most intensity into training, but this situation doesn’t work for me. I don’t know what my future will be. I am not a player who sits on the bench.
“I want to play, and if it’s not here, I understand that, but I want to go somewhere I can play. I want to play for the Brazil team and that is unlikely if I don’t play at club level, so I have to look for new places
Joao Palhinha has officially signed his Bayern Munich contract ahead of his move from Fulham, according to Sky in Germany.
The 29-year-old has agreed terms on a deal until at least 2028, with the option to extend for further year.
Bayern agreed a £47.2m (€56m) deal plus bonuses with Fulham earlier this month and Palhinha has already completed a medical.
The Portugal international’s move will be a club-record sale for Fulham.
