Michigan football has been on fire in the month of June. it’s usually a good month for the Wolverines and was once again in the 2025 class.

On Saturday, Julius Holly committed to Michigan football. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound EDGE out of Alpharetta, Georgia is ranked No. 301 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s the No. 22 EDGE and is the 10th blue-chip commitment in the 2025 class for the Wolverines.

Holly is a little different than many of the players Michigan football has recruited at EDGE. The Wolverines tend to love those 6-foot-5 or 6-foot-6 pass rushers. That’s Jaylen Williams and Nate Marshall who can play multiple spots along the defensive line.

Holly is a little different is more of a true EDGE. He might not have the prototypical size but he can rush the passer. Holly had 57 tackles last season, eight sacks, and three pass breakups. Holly has natural ability off the EDGE and he’s been a productive player at a high level of football so there’s a lot to like.
