India are gearing up for their second World Cup final in seven months as they take on South Africa in the T20 title clash in Bridgetown, Barbados on Saturday.
Eager to move on from their 2023 ODI World Cup final defeat to Australia on home soil, India will face South Africa as the month-long T20 World Cup in the U.S. and the West Indies comes to an end.
Heading into Saturday’s finale, India and South Africa have one thing in common: both teams have been unbeaten at this year’s T20 World Cup.
India and South Africa finished on top of their respective groups and earned similar results in the Super Eights stage. In the semi-finals, India defeated title holders England while South Africa thrashed minnows Afghanistan.
