As of my last update in January 2022, there were no reports of Max Verstappen retiring from Formula 1.

Max Verstappen, born on September 30, 1997, is a Dutch racing driver currently competing for Red Bull Racing in Formula 1. Known for his aggressive driving style and impressive racecraft, Verstappen has been a prominent figure in the sport since his debut in 2015 with Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Up to that point, Verstappen had established himself as one of the top talents in Formula 1, achieving multiple race wins and pole positions. His rivalry with Lewis Hamilton, driving for Mercedes, has been a highlight of recent Formula 1 seasons, particularly in 2021 when Verstappen won his first World Championship after a dramatic season finale in Abu Dhabi.

Given the nature of professional sports, retirement decisions can be influenced by a variety of factors including personal goals, team dynamics, and overall career trajectory. However, any recent news regarding Max Verstappen’s retirement would require updated information beyond my current knowledge cutoff in January 2022.

For the most recent updates on Max Verstappen’s career and retirement status, it is recommended to check reputable sports news sources or official Formula 1 announcements.
