Louisville offers 2026 four-star WR Kaydon Finley during unofficial visit
Michael McCammon

One of the top wide receivers in the Class of 2026 made an unofficial visit at Louisville on Monday and picked up a scholarship offer from the Cardinals before departing. Four-star Kaydon Finley of Aledo, Tex., had an opportunity to visit with UofL head coach Jeff Brohm and receivers coach Garrick McGee, plus tour the program facilities and more during his visit.

“It was great,” Finley told Cardinal Authority. “I got in this morning and they treated me like family already. It was first time in Kentucky and was definitely cool to check out, and I’ll definitely be back. The Brohm family is a really cool family and I got to connect with them a lot. I love the wide receivers coach, coach McGee. It was great to get out and finally meet those guys in person.”

The relationship between the Louisville staff and the 6-foot, 200-pound Finley isn’t a new one.

“We’ve been building a relationship for awhile now,” Finley said. “So, that was good to get out and meet the coaching staff. ”

It was during a visit with Jeff Brohm that Finley was extended the scholarship offer.

“They were telling me how I am a high-impact player,” Finley said. “They believe that I can make a big impact on the program and they were talking about how I could get the 2026 class started up and rolling.”

Finley has made an impact since his freshman season. As a sophomore for an Aledo team that won the Texas 5A D-I state title for a consecutive season, Finley caught 42 passes for 703 yards and seven touchdowns. As a freshman in 2022, he finished with 25 receptions for 417 yards and six touchdowns for an Aledo squad that won the Texas 5A D-I state championship.
