According to Sabah (page 16), Galatasaray, the Turkish champions, have made Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a defender for Manchester United, their top candidate for the right-back position. Despite having a difficult season due to injuries with the Red Devils the previous season, the 26-year-old managed to make 30 appearances and had a significant impact on the FA Cup final versus Manchester City.

Next month, Wan-Bissaka will begin his final year of contract; he is reportedly Galatasaray’s first pick and top candidate to strengthen the right-back position. The Super League heavyweights anticipate a price reduction for the Crystal Palace graduate towards the close of the summer transfer season, despite his current valuation of £17 million.

Wan-Bissaka shouldn’t be sold by United for a low price.

Wan-Bissaka’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, but the Red Devils have already activated the extension provision. There are no discussions on a potential renewal. If this attitude continues, there’s a good chance he’ll be offloaded in the upcoming weeks. In spite of this, the team shouldn’t let him go for nothing. Galatasaray is seeking to sign him for less than £17 million, but United could easily get another Premier League team to pay that amount.

Additionally, Wan-Bissaka might favor staying in the Premier League over moving elsewhere. Therefore, selling him for less makes little sense unless the right-back is certain about joining Galatasaray. United might want to sell him in order to raise money before locating a qualified successor.
