Lionel Messi has revealed if current side Inter Miami will be the last club the Argentine plays for during his career.

Whilst Messi is still unsure if he will compete at the next World Cup, the forward remaining at Inter Miami for the duration of his contract seems to be guaranteed, even if there are still fanciful rumors that the attacker could return to FC Barcelona.

Speaking to ESPN, Messi revealed that he believes Inter Miami will be his last club, seemingly ending speculation that a shock return to Barcelona is on the cards, as well as joining boyhood club Newell’s Old Boys.

With Messi’s contract at Inter Miami expected to end in 2026, the next two years could be the last we see of the Argentine in club colors, with the upcoming World Cup potentially where the attacker could call time on his career.
