Few people may be picking the Las Vegas Raiders to make the playoffs this coming season, but they do have some intriguing offensive talent.

Davante Adams remains one of the NFL’s best wide receivers, and Jakobi Meyers is a solid No. 2 wide receiver.

In addition, Las Vegas has incoming rookie tight end Brock Bowers, whom they took with the No. 13 pick in April’s draft and is considered to have star potential.

Adams has apparently gained respect for Bowers during offseason workouts, and he said he has nicknamed the University of Georgia product “BM” for “business man,” because he seems very serious about his craft, per Jesse Merrick.

In three seasons with the Bulldogs, Bowers totaled 175 catches, 2,538 yards, and 31 total touchdowns while winning back-to-back College Football Playoff National Championship games in 2021 and 2022.

The Raiders have gone through a changing of the guard lately at the quarterback position — they moved on from longtime starter Derek Carr late in the 2022 season, and last year, they benched veteran free-agent acquisition Jimmy Garoppolo after seven games.

After that, rookie Aidan O’Connell ended up as their QB1, and now, he will be engaged in a battle with Gardner Minshew for the starting job this fall.

Whoever wins that job will certainly have help in the form of Adams, Meyers, and presumably Bowers.
