Harambee Stars left-back Aboud Omar has revealed what his teammates need to do if they are to overcome the monumental challenge of facing Ivory Coast in Malawi on matchday four of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Kenya will be facing the reigning Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) champions in Malawi on June 11, four days after they play Burundi at the Bingu Stadium.

Ivory Coast are high on confidence ever since delivering AFCON victory on home soil, but Omar remains unfazed on the prospect of facing them, believing that Kenya can beat them if they embrace one crucial value.

The Bingu National Stadium was named after former Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika and has a capacity of 41,100.

It took nearly five years before it was opened with the groundbreaking happening in July 2012 before it was officially inaugurated in January 2017.
