According to the lawsuit, the two women were employed by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings and worked as flight attendants on the Jaguars’ September 28, 2023, chartered flight to London and the returning trip to the States. The plaintiffs allege that the flight “quickly turned into a party” as McManus (then a Jaguars player) and several other players “disregarded the flight attendants’ personal space, air travel safety, and federal law,” ESPN’s Mike DiRocco reported.
Entering 2024 free agency, all signs pointed to Ridley returning to Jacksonville, as both parties seemed eager to reach a long-term agreement. However, the division rival Titans swooped in at the final hour and gave the star receiver 92 million reasons why he should turn heel and defect to Nashville. The 29-year-old Ridley understandably obliged.
Jacksonville is now set to face Ridley twice in 2024, with the first meeting not happening until Week 14 (December 8), and the second being just three weeks later (December 29).
The 2014 Jaguars ranked last in run-blocking grade and 27th in pass-blocking grade as a team, on their way to
dreadful 3-13 season. Rookie right guard Brandon Linder was the lone offensive player with an overall grade above 70.0. He allowed 15 pressures over 597 pass-blocking snaps and committed just two penalties for the year.
