The Crimson Tide could’ve eased their nerves but, they didn’t wait long to hear their names called as the Tide is headed to Tallahassee as their season continues.

This marks the first time in ten years that the Alabama Baseball program is in the tournament for back-to-back seasons. This also marks the first season in which Rob Vaughn has led the Crimson Tide after he replaced Brad Bohannon this off-season.

The hosting Florida State Seminoles, Stetson Hatters, and the UCF Knights will join the Crimson Tide. The Seminoles are the 8th overall seed in the tournament while Stetson won the Atlantic-Ten to get here and UCF had an impressive year in the Big 12 losing in the Semifinal of the conference.

The SEC was stacked this season with 11 regional teams a new record and five of the top eight teams in the tournament. Five teams including the Alabama baseball team finished with a 13-17 regular season record and got into the NCAA Tournament showing how strong the conference was this season.
