The Crimson Tide are officially adding multiple true freshman to their roster this summer. The group moved in recently, and Alabama released a video compilation of the process. The video can be streamed below:
Alabama Football is preparing for the arrivals of eight summer enrollees that should complete the 2024 roster. These class of 2024 signees will look to acclimate quickly to improve their chances of contributing early.
5-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, already a fan favorite, is clearly the summer enrollee most likely to play significant snaps this fall. Williams is one of the most highly-regarded recruits in program history, and could be a game-changer even at the age of 17.
Joining Ryan Williams on campus will be fellow wideouts Amari Jefferson and Rico Scott. Both were 4-star receivers that project to be long-term investments for the Tide, but could surprise and get on the field early on offense or special teams.
Running back Kevin Riley also joins the Crimson Tide this summer. Riley was one of the best backs in the 2024 class, but he will be behind the curve as the last of Alabama’s five running backs on campus.
Similarly, 3-star tight end Jay Lindsey joins a very crowded position room. Lindsey is a well-rounded tight end that should contribute in time, but could be a redshirt candidate this season.
