Five observations and a rating on WR Curtis Samuel, who the Bills signed…

The Buffalo Bills now have room to make a few changes in free agency, but they will still need to use the draft to fill some of their immediate needs.

Buffalo needs to strengthen its secondary and defensive line. It’s also imperative to add one or more weapons for Josh Allen.

Buffalo has 11 draft selections going into the 2024 NFL Draft. Although Brandon Beane has a history of backroom deals, it’s feasible that he uses all 11 selections. We wrangled and haggled in our first mock draft, pretending to be Beane, to take care of the team’s most urgent need.

Using the PFF mock draft simulator, here is how we fared. Round 1, Pick 28: TRADE Buffalo sends picks 28, 128, 134, 163 to Green Bay Packers for picks 41 and 58. The Packers, shortly after making their first pick of the first round, trade back into the end of the first round. In a weaker conference, the Packers land two top-30 prospects in an attempt to become the top dog in the conference. Buffalo, meanwhile, sets themselves up with three picks inside the top-60. Round 2, Pick 41: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota There were many directions that I considered with pick 41, but with so many talented receivers still remaining I went with the top defender available. The Chiefs take on the Bills at Highmark Stadium near Buffalo on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET; the winner advances to the AFC championship game. Does this mean that Swift and Steinfeld will be hanging out together when the Bills host the Chiefs in the AFC divisional round on Sunday? Steinfeld told Seventeen magazine in 2016 that she considers Swift a friend, but “I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do.”
