Tennessee has pursued a number of pass rushers on the recruiting trail recently, including Lower Cape May Regional High School wide receiver Braswell Thomas. At 6-2 and 185 pounds, Thomas is ranked No.
675 in the 2025 class by 247Sportsand#039; Combination in the ranking. Volunteers have been behind for a while, and he recently spoke with Volunteer State to update his recruiting efforts. andquot;My recruitment is definitely going well. I’m definitely having fun trying to focus everything and train hard.andquot; After the commencement speech, Thomas was asked which schools stood out for him. andquot;Syracuse for sure, as well as Tennessee. Tennessee: andquot;Coach [Josh] Heupel is a very outgoing person. And I really love that competitiveness. A very special place and a great culture too.andquot; Asked about his relationship with the Tennessee staff, he said, quote: My relationship with Tennessee is great. I have a great relationship with Coach Heupel and some of the other staff because they keep in touch every day.andquot; Thomas believes he can bring something significant to a program like Tennessee

So far, Thomas has an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh on February 3rd and an officil visit to Nebraska on June 13th..
