Leeds United Ends The Transfer Window With A Man City Star For $115m To…..

In an effort to maintain his finest players on the team, head coach Daniel Farke hasn’t been very active in the 2024 winter transfer window for the Whites.

Leeds, who were demoted to the Championship at the conclusion of the 2022–2023 season, are hoping to gain their instant return to the Premier League. They are in a strong position to earn an automatic promotion. Despite the Yorkshire team’s drop to the second division, Gnonto hasn’t developed into the star he may have thought he would, but he has still shown to be a useful asset for Farke.

Despite appearing certain to leave Elland Road during the 2023 summer transfer window, Gnonto has had an intriguing season with Leeds in 2023–2024.

The winger filed a transfer request in August 2023 in an attempt to force a move to Everton after the Premier League team’s numerous approaches for his talents were turned down. Gnonto had asked to be left out of the Leeds team for matches against Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup and Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion in the Championship.

The Toffees made proposals as high as £25 million to entice Gnonto to Goodison Park, but Leeds resisted and didn’t accept the offers from the Liverpool team. The 20-year-old expressed regret for not playing for the team during the transfer drama later that month. Nevertheless, the Italy international stayed at Leeds when the summer transfer window closed, playing a role in Farke’s team and hoping to get back to the Premier League right away.
