I’ll Not Be Held Responsible For This Great Lost”Philadelphia Eagle Head Coach Angrily…….

We can discuss how Moore’s offense performed poorly against superior opponents or how they failed to qualify for the postseason, but that is also the exact same offense that the Cowboys ran this past season. Perhaps those flaws aren’t as dependent on Moore as we previously believed. However, if you look at his four years with the Cowboys, the offense finished second overall in terms of both points and yards gained during that time. That is astounding since over the course of three different seasons, they missed 17 games altogether without Dak Prescott. Under Moore’s leadership in Dallas, the Cowboys offense has been the second-best unit in the league despite having Andy Dalton, Garrett Gilbert, Ben DiNucci, and Cooper Rush. I hope he won’t be cowboys supporters who have had firsthand access to Moore’s body of work in recent years shouldn’t be too shocked if he is the answer in Philadelphia.

If you need any more evidence to be skeptical, consider the following: the Chargers failed to make the progress they had hoped for with Moore last season, and the coaching staff was fired; the Cowboys moved on from Moore and their offense improved. It was evident that the injuries played a role up until that point. The Chargers went from being a sleeper Super Bowl pick to being selected in the top five of the draft despite Justin Herbert missing four games and Mike Williams playing three. Before it caught fire, the Cowboys offense was not as successful through the first five games of the season as it was under Moore. Though it’s worth examining how much of Moore’s ideas they employed as the season went on, it’s obvious that Moore did not write the plays.
