Robert Snodgrass played for several clubs during his career including Leeds United, West Ham United, Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Luton Town.Former Leeds United winger Robert Snodgrass has confirmed his retirement after 20 years playing. The 36-year-old began his career at Livingston before playing for the Whites, Norwich City, Hull City, West Ham United, Aston Villa, West Brom and Luton Town.Snodgrass spent four years at Elland Road and made over 150 appearances for United before joining the Canaries in July 2012.

Writing a heartfelt Instagram post, the 36-year-old paid tribute to everyone who made his career a complete success.The Scotland international said: andquot;After 20 years of professional football I am officially retired and have decided to call it quits for the day and hang up my boots..A little boy from the east end of Glasgow lived his childhood dream for 20 years, playing at 10 great clubs, meeting amazing people and building relationships with the staff and people at those clubs. I never imagined that I would represent my country, play more than 600 games, score more than 100 goals and give more than 100 assists, and then in 2014 I was told that I might never play football again after my career. knee injury I’m grateful to be back to play another 250+ games.andquot;
