A 21-year-old footballer for Leeds United recently “agreed” to quit Elland Road.

After deciding not to pursue a move, Hibernian gave defender Kris Moore more consideration. It now looks like one of their U21 teammates will be going on loan.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke reports that Lewis Bate has reached an agreement to spend the remainder of the season on loan at MK Dons. This will be Bate’s second loan period in as many years.

With his contract set to expire in the summer, Bate’s tenure at the club is likely to come to an end as he and Leo Hjelde are no longer in Daniel Farke’s plans.

After spending the previous season on loan at Oxford United in League One, Bate had to return to Leeds early due to a fractured hand.

The 21-year-old had a respectable experience at Oxford, so it’s surprising that he now needs to move down to League Two to have another opportunity to play senior football on a regular basis.

Although Leeds United has not yet added their first player during the January transfer window, there are rumors that the 49ers may now make their winter move to get a Premier League version. In the race for Championship promotion, Daniel Farke’s team may find that this rapidly proves to be the difference.

Even though Elland Road had a quiet January window, the transfer rumors have surfaced. The youthful right-back Calvin Ramsay of Liverpool, whose previous loan at Preston North End ended, and Ben Davies of Tottenham Hotspur, whose experience at the highest level makes him an impressive addition, have both been connected to the Whites.
