Treloar wore the red white and blue colours for the first time at Western Bulldogs club headquarters on Friday, where he was joined by his wife and their eight-month-old Georgie.
He also posted a video message for Bulldogs fans.
‘It’s been a crazy, crazy 15 hours for me. I’m excited to be here at Whitten Oval as a Western Bulldogs football player,’ he said.

‘To be told that, when I don’t think that’s the truth, and to be told that there’s some players that don’t want you there when I know the majority of the players love me and care for me, that did hurt a bit.
