- Law enforcement and other emergency personnel responded to the scene of a crash late Thursday afternoon involving a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office cruiser and a passenger car at an intersection in southern Forsyth County, near the High Point city limits.
HIGH POINT — A Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office cruiser collided with a car Thursday at an intersection near the High Point city limits.
According to the N.C. State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 5:50 p.m. when the driver of a 2013 Chevrolet passenger vehicle was traveling west on High Point Road, approaching N.C. 66. At the same time, a 2018 Dodge Forsyth County marked patrol vehicle was traveling south on N.C. 66 with its lights and siren activated.
